Charron smokin' at the Sheep!

I had heard of Marc Charron's performances in the past from different folks around
the Ottawa and Western Canadian music scene. So, approaching the Black Sheep (which
is a great venue; too smoky though), I saw that he was the opening act! Having
read the huge story in the Ottawa Citizen the previous week , we had wrongfully
figured he would be headlining. So, got to the Sheep late, and walked in as Marc
was half way through his set. Hearing about a "one-man-band" is something, but
seeing is believing. Hands, feet and voice moving all together, he made a huge
sound, told funny stories, personal accounts and had us all laughing throughout
the performance. Too bad his cd is not ready, I would have bought a couple and
shared with my friends.
